I got introduced to MUDding by a roommate my freshman year of college, but all I did was to log in to make fun of him. Two years later a guy on my floor introduced me to a game called SpamMud, so I created a character called "Gimp" to make fun of him with. Unfortunately, this time I actually got into the game and therefore was stuck with the name. I also played a game my roommate liked called HollyMUD, but didn't get into until later. It eventually became Aesir and I was an imm there twice. It is also where I met my wife (yeah, yeah, so I'm a nerd). After taking a year or two off from mudding, my wife and I started SoT, which is a small H&S leveling MUD that I work on in my spare time. |
