For those who hadn't heard yet, Sunday night at 9:56 PM (EDT), Dragona and I had a daughter! She was born 5 pounds 9 ounces and 19 inches long. According to the OB's due date, she was a week and a few days early, but according to the pediatrician on-duty she was 38 weeks, which is considered full term. She's a tiny but beautiful little thing and we're very happy, proud, and excited about her, as are her four older brothers. Well, the youngest (14 months old) is still a little jealous of her... Mother and daughter are both home and doing great, they were released from the hospital Tuesday morning. Labor officially began when Dragona's "water" broke at 11:00 AM that same day. Both of our youngest sons (14 months and 7 years old) stayed with us at the hospital for the entire duration. She's been named Samara Pauline.
