| Templeton's Projects: | I'm currently working on a new Building project. It is my first non-WoT themed MUD (Happy! Happy! Joy! Joy!) that I am Building for so I'm not just learning a new OLC but also a new theme too. No sweat! |

Templeton (Temp-el-ton): A crazy MUDder (circa 1995) and inept area builder (circa 1998) who has a general tendency to avoid work of any kind. Spends most of her time roleplaying, writing stories, chatting, killing mobs for exp, being PKilled or asleep at the keyboard. Can usually be found infesting Wheel of Time themed MUDs but has been known to frequent MUD establishments with other themes. Has no real concept of spelling and grammar. Has no real life. |

OMG! I'm building areas again! I could have sworn that I had "retired". It my 2nd retirement... go figure! Anyway... no more building for Wheel of Time MUDs! That's right! I will play those MUDs but never again will I build for a WoTish MUD. The truth is (apart from getting tangled up in player dramas which I tried to stay out of) I was getting bored. Over the years (and on different MUDs) I have built almost every single major WoTish city (apart from Seanchan stuff although I do remember that I did attempt one Seanchan city long ago but the MUD went bye-bye before I finished it) and then a load of other areas on top of that. It was becoming very difficult to be inspired... it was like having a wardrobe full only of little black dresses, they may look all shiny, new and pleasing to the eye to someone else but to myself each area was another little black dress - there was no variety. I guess that I always have and always will be the biggest critic of my work. New theme = more research. It will be challenging but this time I don't have the drive to play other MUDs of this genre... this is strictly business. I am not going to restrict myself to the places that I play anymore. Anyway... back to work. I dread to think how long this area will take because it seems to keep on growing and growing. So much for a small area to start off with. | ||
