TMCers know me as Icculus, though my real name is Andrew. I have a wonderful wife and 2 terrific kids ( babies still ) and we live in NC, USA. I started mudding in college ( back in the early 90s ) and played on muds such as Rivers of Mud and the original Burning Dikumud and then made my way to Dikumud II ( now known as Valhalla ). I created TMC around 1994 as a way to learn CGI programming while developing a website devoted to mudding, at the time there wasn't much else to choose from annd TMC quickly caught on with the community as a place to find muds and information about mudding. Nowadays I do not have much time to play but I still maintain TMC and enjoy doing so. Hey folks, what better place than my personal journal to post something non mud or TMC related... ;) About 15 years before geekdom won and I submitted to being strapped to a keyboard for life I had begun playing guitar, mostly rock guitar in HS bands but also did alot of acoustic/classical guitar. My beloved electric was stolen my first year in college and I more less hung it up for quite awhile, though still pulling out the acoustic every now and then to keep in tune and rarely playing an old beat up japanese strat that goes out of tune every few notes (well it did before I dismantled it and somehow fixed it).. The itch has returned lately and I sought out a nice custom strat and began recording some ideas as they pop into my head. I added a Guitar Page to my website and uploaded some of the songs I have finished or at least put on the shelf for the time being. I hope, if some of you choose to listen, it isn't so bad that your eardrums bleed. ;) -Iccy | ||
