Anyways, I can't seem to stay logged in. Using latest version of Firefox, closing the window would log me out. If cookies aren't installed yet, just lemme know.

Check the domain when your cookie is set, it should be social.mudconnect.com - if you are following links to a different domain that would do it, if you find this to be the case pls let me know so I can change the links. I also use the latest Firerfox but have not had problems with my cookies staying...

Well, clicking "Login" takes me to mudconnect.com and not the subdomain. Not sure if that's the problem. But yes, when visiting here I always go to social.mudconnect.com.

The path you should be taking is first to mudconnect.com, so it can set the cookies for the rest of TMC, then a redirect to a special action in tmcnet to set the cookies for social. and then a final redirect to the index. At some point it sounds like you are moving out of social. space ? Not sure, but I will keep an eye out and see if I can reproduce what you are seeing.

I reproduce it like this: 1.) Login here. 2.) Close Firefox (all windows). 3.) Open Firefox, go back to social subdomain. And I'll be logged out.
If it helps, the cookie is set to expire "at end of session". And the cookie is at the subdomain, so that seems fine.
Fixed ( I think )

I forgot that I was using Rails' default cookie options ( DOH ), and it needed to be told when to expire the cookie. Should be good now for a 30 day cookie I believe, please let me know by logging out and then relogging-in if that helps.
Thanks Iccy
Works fine now
